Playground of the Pau Vila de Parets del Vallès municipal school

Schoolyards represent one of the most important and formative public spaces during childhood; they play a significant role in children’s learning and growth.

For this reason, taking advantage of the summer holidays and following the improvement of the municipal facilities, the Parets del Vallès City Council entrusts Landem with the task of Construction Management (DO) and Safety and Health Coordination (CSS) to restore the playground of the Pau Vila municipal school.

The work consisted of transforming the school yard into a more welcoming space for children; several recreational areas were created, including new green areas, a sandpit and a vegetable garden; and a new and better access to the classrooms was built.

The aim was to improve the outside space of the school by inviting the children to carry out, also outside the classroom, pedagogical, training and development activities.
