Playgrounds in Sabadell

Parks, squares and gardens are very important centers of coexistence for the community. In particular, the children’s areas, which play an essential role in promoting childhood development, sports and early integration into the social fabric.

In this case, the Sabadell City Council promoted the improvement of children’s areas and the remodeling of their squares in six locations. Each square was resolved in a particular way and, to integrate into its environment, different types of games, pavements and improvement of green areas were executed. The result of the works managed to comply with the safety parameters, where the little ones can move independently without any type of danger.

The integration of the games in the squares allowed the creation of friendly places for children and the whole family, in which it is possible to take another step towards a more inclusive society in the broadest sense of the word. Thus, the Karl Marx, Carrasco i Formiguera, Alberto Lavera, Aurora Bertrana, Vila Arrufat and Plaza de les Vaques squares now have their new spaces where children can enjoy themselves, play sports and socialise, safely and in a pleasant environment. .
