COPERNICUS-VALLMAJOR CROSSING

LANDEM assumes the tasks of construction management for the urbanization project, promoted by BIMSA, which aims to tidy up and improve the intersection on the south side between Copérnic and Vallmajor streets in the Sarrià-Sant Gervasi district, Barcelona.
The aim is to improve visibility and safety, clarify the space as a whole and take advantage of the space created by the geometry of the intersection to create a new square.
Seeking to give a single criterion to the intervention, the solution is adopted to widen the sidewalks at the pedestrian point and raise the road to make it liftable, forcing vehicles to reduce their speed.
